We we’re in the bay area over the weekend and I just wanted to share a quick example what it means to be an accommodating restaurant.
I told the server that I cannot have wheat/gluten or dairy. She admitted she didn’t know everything I could eat from their menu and that she would go find out. When she returned she brought me a menu. See photos:
If you look closely, they took one of their normal menus (and these menus are not printed daily) and with a pen, circled every item that is wheat/gluten and dairy free.
This isn’t a plug for this specific restaurant or anything like that. It simply is an example of how accommodating restaurants can, and should be to their patrons. We do things like this on a daily basis in the bakery, and honestly, we take pride in doing so.
